TDF has been an incredible resource for our family and this community! My kids have been well-supported while also being challenged with quality dance instruction in a variety of styles throughout the year at TDF. I honestly think this studio is one of Truckee’s greatest assets and can be a wonderful home for dancers of every level.

My daughter has been dancing with the owners of TDF since she was 3 yrs old which translates to 15 years. We are so grateful to have a dance studio at this caliber in our little mountain town. My daughter has grown into a beautiful confident strong dancer because of TDF and more importantly also grown into a beautiful confident strong women. The classes are fun, challenging and creative. Performances such as Twisted Nutcracker (a creative twist on the traditional Nutcracker) and their immersive dancing Haunted House are experiences we feel very lucky to of been a part of and will never forget. The studio not only teaches discipline and is awarded at competitions for it’s innovative and impactful choreography; it also teaches our kids to push themselves, to welcome and receive critique as constructive and value themselves as the beautiful individuals that they are. I’m so very grateful that Truckee Dance Factory has been my daughter’s 2nd home all these years.

As a grandparent with two grandchildren (a 13 year old girl and 11 year old boy) in classes at the TDF, I have been impressed over the years with the skill and enthusiasm imparted to students by the teachers and staff.
However, it wasn't until we attended the year end showcase, IMAGINE, June 16, that I saw just how unique, creative and truly world-class this organization is! The owners, Ryan and PJ, presented their students and showcased their dance skills in a narrative set to Beatles music. The original choreography combined each student's individual mastery of technical dance moves with artistry and skill, and provided a story line that was entertaining yet technically brilliant.
TDF is providing an invaluable resource for learning the athletically challenging art of dance as well as the emotionally satisfying participation of team work and collaboration with others, all in the context of obviously enjoying the hard work. Ryan and PJ's enthusiasm is evident in their students and was definitely caught by the audience in this year's showcase, IMAGINE.

I just watched the video of my great niece and great nephew performing with Truckee Dance Factory. I am blown away by what I've watched!! This dance school is on a whole different plane than ones I've experienced to date in my life. What child wouldn't LOVE to be a part of something as fun and as cool as this show As I watched my two, I couldn't help but notice how full they both are of energy and enthusiasm‼️ Your effort on the part of these young performers is very much observed and lauded. Thank you, niece Katherine, for sending me the link to this Truckee Dance Factory recital. I'm already a BIG FAN

We enjoyed the 2024 performances and think they are the best ever. The creativity of the story outstanding. All of the dancers were in sync with the music and each other. All of the moves appeared to be fluid and effortless. Bravo!

BEST DANCE STUDIO AROUND!!! If your looking for an amazing dance studio with dedicated talented teachers?, this is a place you should check out. The studio is clean and staff is super friendly and informative, convenient little waiting room with activities for my 3 yrs old son and TV's so i can watch the classes without disrupting the class. The Hip Hop program is one of the best i have ever seen. These kids are seriously talented. Go see for yourself. Thank you TDF
