If you have ever considered trying kickboxing and also want to get a great workout then I highly recommend RockBox! After my first class I was hooked and loved the community vibe from all the staff and members. Samantha and Victoria were so welcoming from day 1 and Dylan and Cella are amazing motivational coaches that push me to challenge myself and refine my skills. The lighting and music are on point and they also do fun group events outside of the classes!

Rockbox is one of those places that truly makes in impact in your everyday life. As a college student, I am constantly running around and struggle to find time to get a good workout in before the end of the day. The classes are fun, quick, and you leave feeling like you just got the best workout of your life. Rockbox is not just a place to come work out but it’s a community. I look forward to every class not just for the awesome workout but the amazing people that surround me. If you are looking for a sign to come and take a class, this is your sign!

Don't sleep on RockBox Fitness in Pacific Beach!

Since March 2023 (long overdue review), I've been sweating it out at RockBox, and let me tell you, it's been a wild ride! This place is not just any ordinary gym; it's like stepping into a vey clean well maintained fitness wonderland where the group fitness trainers are nothing short of amazing. Seriously, they must have some kind of magical powers because they manage to make even the most grueling workouts feel like a party (most likely moonlight as DJs in PB).

The front desk staff? Absolute legends. They greet you with such enthusiasm that you’d think you’re a celebrity walking down the red carpet. Need gloves? Wraps? Emotional support? They’ve got you. Forgot your water bottle? No problem, they’ll probably offer you a sip from their own (or from the lost and found collection - IYKYK). Well maybe not that, but the gym does have the most amazing cold water dispenser.

And the community? Oh, the community! It’s an incredible, welcoming bunch that embraces you no matter your fitness level. Whether channeling your inner Amanda Serrano (absolute badass), Katie Taylor or even Tyson (ahh, maybe in his prime) this is the place to do it. The trainers will have you feeling like a boxing legend in no time. First class you'll be high-fiving strangers (who will become supporters and friends) bonding over shared laughs, sweat and tears.

RockBox Fitness Pacific Beach is the place to be if you want to get fit, have fun, and be part of an amazing community. Highly recommend!!

The BEST workout EVER! Kickboxing, boxing, and functional training all in one 50-minute class! It's engaging, explosive, energetic, motivating and ADDICTING! The trainers in PB are so inspirational and really encourage you to push yourself to the max! The Pacific Beach location is owned and run by the most amazing people who are also incredibly involved in the community. Get yourself in to try a class (first class is FREE) and I promise you, you'll be hooked instantly!

I've been having a great time at my local RockBox! The music choice for class is sublime, the teachers are very motivating, and my endorphins reach all time highs as well as my heart rate! The workout is so well rounded too, I feel like I'm getting stronger physically and mentally!
