I can't say enough good things about the Syndicate family. I came here as an entry-level student in most of the martial arts they train. I'm still green, but I feel at home whenever I come to my classes. All the coaches make it personal and take the time to focus on personal growth. I give a huge thumbs up and 5 stars. Much love and respect to the front office, all the coaches, and the owners, John and Jojo. If you're wondering whether you should pursue or start a membership at this gym, I say do it.

My team and I visited Syndicated MMA. Our expectations were well exceeded, beginning with Mary. Mary's hospitality was overwhelming, she made us feel right at home everyday. The coaches and all the students were very welcoming to us as well. This gym is superior! Amazing coaching and techniques. Everyone works super hard to improve and help others improve. We were very blessed to have trained along side everyone, we are excited for the next visit.

I coach MMA in DC area and we came to Vegas for UFC contender series. I asked around to find the right place to train during our visit and many recommended Syndicate. We enjoyed our stay. They are so welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. The place is spotless and super clean. I strongly recommend it to everyone!!

My daughter is only a beginner, but the coach set up a very aggressive opponent, which caused her to get injured, and my daughter was interested in the sport, but now she won't take lessons!

This gym is high quality and great culture. My friend and I were in town and able to train here with open arms. We both agreed we would love to train here if we lived in Vegas!

We did the BJJ class, and Jerry (head instructor) and the other instructor each rolled with us and provided great feedback. Everyone else in the class reflected their attitudes of high quality and good etiquette. 10/10, and looking forward to next time I’m in town!

I’ve been lucky to train at SyndicateMMA three times as a guest while visiting Las Vegas, and each time I leave more impressed! This was my first time training with Capitão in BJJ, and the experience was amazing. I can see why my friends that train here regularly speak so highly of his classes and coaching! Everyone in the class was extremely welcoming and accommodating, which was important to me as a white belt with very little experience. I definitely felt I got enough reps drilling technique, and I was able to roll multiple times with at least 4 different partners during sparring. I even allowed myself to be talked into trying the MMA class that followed, and although I was completely terrified to try something new, I found I was having an unbelievably good time! The class was a great mix of drills and cardio, which was perfect for me as a first time student. The team atmosphere and camaraderie at SyndicateMMA is unique and exceptional. I wish I could train with this crew every day!
Special thanks to Roxanne Modafferi for inviting me and encouraging me, Serena DeJesus and Enzo Perez for the rolls, and Capitão for being brilliant.
Oh, and make sure you visit the coffee shop too!

I’ve been a member at Syndicate for over a year and I’m pleased with what the gym has to offer. For one the highlight of the gym is walking in and seeing Mama Wood (the head of the gym) greet you with a sweet welcome. She makes the gym such a personable and friendly environment and is willing to work out a membership for each student. I’ve even seen her offer jobs to students before.

The other great thing about Syndicate is how simple the billing works. You either purchase a class pack of 10 for $150 or you get a membership (striking only, grappling only, or full MMA all classes). The instructors are very top notch and even offer classes a lot of other gyms don’t have like Wrestling, Boxing, and Amateur MMA. I would like to see the support for these classes grow just as large as the BJJ and Muay Thai.

Maybe my #1 critique of the gym is that it’s starting to get a very large membership where it’s increasingly difficult to get instructors eyes on you. My recommendation is that they start to break out the BJJ sessions and separate the class by Beginner (white belt) and Intermediate (white belt - 3 stripes and above to black) and then allow the two classes to roll together after instruction. This is how Tristar Gym does it and it works fantastically instead of matching very beginner level folks with purple belts getting ready for competition.

Overall very satisfied with the classes, I hope they expand the morning classes to 7:30 or 8am for those who work 9-5 jobs and that they improve their strength and fitness room to include some very heavily used equipment for MMA fighters like a reverse hyper or belt squat but overall it’s a 5/5 gym for me
